About Dr John Brown
John has been at Animed for 20 years. He has a keen interest in surgery, having previously been an external examiner in Surgery at the Ondestepoort veterinary school in South Africa. He is able to perform many operations that other vets would have to refer to a specialist.
Despite having lived in England for many years, he retains a love for Africa and returns on a regular basis to go on safari. He is a keen golfer, having been captain of a local golf club in the past and currently plays off 7.
He has 3 dogs, one of whom is a regularly worked springer spaniel.
